How to Apply

Any company that fits these criteria is welcome to apply to the Nordic Circular Design Programme.

  • We are looking to select 50 companies to participate in this unique programme. The criterias are:

    Company Size: The programme is meant for Nordic SMEs and large companies.Preferablyenterprises with their own design/R&D functions.

    Geographic Scope: Open to companies from all Nordic countries: Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

    Sector Focus: Specifically for industrial manufacturing companies with their own end-product.

    Participants: A minimum of 2 participants per company is required, one for executive track and one for R&D track with a recommendation for more (up to a maximum of 6 participants).

    Circular Maturity: None: you don't need to have any prior circular economy knowledge or actions in place! What matters is that you are curious and your company is willing to develop your product & service offering.

  • Executive track: Management team members, e.g. R&D, Design, Business Development, Strategy, and Innovation, Board members, company owners and investors.

    R&D track: for professionals involved in product & service development.

  • The programme fees (including a team of 2-6 participants): 

    Small & Micro enterprises (turnover ≤ €10 million and employees < 50): €3000 (+VAT)

    Medium enterprises (turnover ≤ €50 million and employees < 250): €5000 (+VAT)

    Large enterprises (turnover > €50 million and employees > 250): €7000 (+VAT)

    Invoice of the programme fee will be sent upon the selection of participating companies by July 4th.

Note apart from the participation fee, the participants also invest their time and engagement.

First application round open until June 30th 2025:
Eligible companies (up to 50), who apply to the programme during the first round, and match the selection criteria, will be accepted to the programme. The selected companies will be informed by July 4th. There are quotas for different size of companies. Invoice of the programme fee will be sent upon the selection of participating companies by July 4th.

Second application round for the remaining seats open until September 15th 2025:
If there are seats left from the first application round, companies can still apply to the programme until mid September. The status will be updated at the programme website when the first round is closed
